Verily all Praises are for Allah, the Lord of Creation and the peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad (salAllaAhu alayhi wasallam) and upon his family and companions altogether.

The Messenger of Allah (salAllaAhu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever makes a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will make for him a house in Paradise.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Over the last 10 years, here in Slough (South East England), we have by the permission of Allah and His blessings, established the da’wah of Tawheed and Sunnah – the Islam of the righteous first three generations since the hijrah to Madinah. From a small bookstore approximately 300sq ft. (including a small praying area for about 15 brothers), to what we have been currently blessed with – a 1000sqft building (with a second floor for sisters – accommodating a total of approx. 300 people in the building), alhamdolillah we have come a long way with perseverance and patience.

Dear reader, you can see the activities that have been established since then, from Salawaat, disseminating knowledge through lessons and conferences, Audio CD & Bookstore, Boys and Girls Qur’an school and much more…(see: http://www.markazmuaadh.com/about_us.asp), all this upon the Sunnah of the most beloved of creation, Muhammad (salAllahu alayhiwasallam). We cannot thank Allah enough for what he has guided us to and how He has aided us to spread what we love, how He (the Most Generous) softened the hearts of the community and accept the Sunnah, such that we receive co-operation from them also and alhamdolillah the da’wah has grown.

The only set back we have always had is renting the properties. Although, we have been able and still are able to maintain this, we have come to a stage where we believe that now is the time that we do exactly what the Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasallam) did…establish and build a Masjid. Masjid Mu’aadh bin Jabal is the project that no true believer will want to avoid, to build a masjid for the worship of Allah (alone); to aid in establishing a place for the community to be taught Qur’an, Sunnah, Arabic; to raise our children upon the actions of Islam and all that is pleasing to their Creator.

For you dear Reader: a house in Paradise, sadaqaatun jaariyya (on-going charity) and a noble cause that is pleasing to your Lord. For this project, we aim to raise £500,000 which is an estimated figure (this estimation is based on previous bought buildings or land purchased and material used). Our aim is also to ensure, we build this Masjid for a capacity much larger than we currently accommodate and include a car park. We strongly recommend that you get involved with this great project in anyway shape or form. We believe that you (dear reader), not only can provide financially, but because you have skills and ideas that you can contribute to this cause. This project is the most valuable investment any Muslim can make…an investment for the Hereafter.

And spend in the Cause of Allâh and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allâh), and do good. Truly, Allâh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers). (Al-Baqarah 2:195)
